Before I start this blog I have to tell you that I have a new found respect for everyone that has taken up this task of writing the weekly review here in Active Rain. I read tons of great stuff and know this will sound like an old broken record, but I apologize for not being able to include many of the great posts from this week. It is an incredibly difficult task and just because I did not pick yours, it does not mean it wasn't good.

In case you missed some of the craziness around Active Rain this week, let me sum it up for you. Barry began talking about etiquette and how difficult it is to keep a network like this without conflict (it's your fault Barry; you should have kept your mouth shut). Kristal let the witch out, Teresa Boardman went on strike, then Mary shocked us, then TLW shocked us all even more. Someone ticked off Jay Merton, the nicest guy here, and Rich tried to establish Peace with non other than a Beatles song (couldn't you pick something different?)

In case you missed last week's review by Colleen Kulikowski ---> Active Rain - Week in Review 01/08/07-01/14/07 (Modified)

I apologize for not including a lot of great posts, but the list was soooo long. Man this was hard! Good luck to whoever goes next. the great thing was that I got to meet a lot of new people. Thanks to the AR guys for letting me do this, it was fun!
Ines
Ines - this is BEAUTIFUL!!!! What a fabulous job and I LOVE all the graphics you used - what a great job you did with this!!!!! Love how you put your stamp on this review!
Thanks much for the mention - I've been enjoying the book reviews we've been doing.
These weeks-in-review take ALOT of work - reading and commenting and sifting through all the terrific posts to come up with the ones to include in the review. THEN writing the review - alot of work AND alot of fun getting to meet so many people through their blogs. I missed some of these, so I'll definitely be bookmarking this post so I can catch up on those.
VERY NICELY DONE, INES!!!

Ann
Nice work! I don`t know about all the whacky stuff people have written but "It Must Have Been a Full Moon". Like everything in this world it`s a Brand new week... We start over and grow from there....
Peace.
Ines...
I know for a fact you worked very very hard on this. Everywhere I went last week you were right behind me. You had me convinced you were stalking me. Some other Members thought you were too. SVW.
I am sorry you had to be the one that got stuck reviewing a not so cheerful week in the rain. But it's all behind us now and some of the important changes have gone into effect.
Thanks for the mention. I will close by saying it's time to move forward and begin a brand new week. I for one am looking forward to that :)
P.S. Could you please keep stalking me? I had a whole lot of fun with that. GVW.
Nice job Ines a lot of work I'm sure. Thank goodness it's a new week.
Thanks Jay
It was an acid rain week for sure.
kk
p.s. thanks for taking the time to review it, I know that job is a challenging one indeed!

I would have missed some of these posts had you not reviewed it for us.......thanks for taking the time to read, summarize, and give back to Active Rain!
You guys are too kind - it's each and everyone of you that makes this place so great! So keep on blogging, and keep giving all of us good material to not only read and enjoy, but to share with our customers as well.
Brian - your blogs are always so entertaining, and your inteview of Bryant was great - I'm so glad you posted the link in AR for us not to miss it.
Ann - it was hard, it was fun and now I'm done - I had good previous examples to go by <wink, wink>
Scott - when all else fails, blame the moon - I'm with ya1
Chris - Thank you and my pleasure - everyone should get a shot at this!
TLW - new week, clean slate - the craziness game me material - I love a little spice in my life.....and don't worry....I'll keep stalking you and stocking you too.
Jay - I'm sorry about the PATS!
Bryant - it was fun - can you please keep your wife off my back? She scares me with all those BAMS!
Kristal - ACID RAIN for sure - but the storm is over and the sun is out.
Diane - you are welcome - you had a great post. And thanks for the compliment.
Mariana - where are you? where's your profile? and thank you thank you - butterfliies LOVE flowers....did you know that?
Ines... I am semi late to the party.... And I will vocalize some of the same comments already mentioned.... but this was awesome. Not that the others weren't. But am loving the creativeness shown and the format as several have mentioned. Great Job.....
On another note... long? this ain't long.... ;o) I just had to bust on you in regards to that. ;o)
Overall, thanks for the hard work put into this and the links. I have missed possibly half of these and now have some reading to do. I feel like it's a homework assignment from when we were back in high school. At least this will be fun and enjoyable homework..... thanks again.
Roxanne and Shannon - it's good to have you back and glad you enjoyed!
Rich - that's why doing the reviews is so challenging, I tried to look at a lot of post that had not been featured and to get some new faces as well. There are some great bloggers out there not getting seen. Hopefully we can change that.
Hey Jeff - do your homework! But at least you'll enjoy the assignment, thanks for the compliments.
Colleen - I will take you up on that....something nice....I like it!
Steve - thanks and well deserved feature - that was a grea post.
Renee - you're right about the "no easy task" it's tough to eliminate some because they are great.
Dena - you're so sweet - but I do strive for perfection .....NOT!
Ines,
I also want to tell you that you did a magnificent job at the week in review. Thanks for including one of my blogs, it is nice to be appreciated.
Gary and Mary Nelson
Gary and Mary - Thank you and loved your blog and the photos were great - hope to see more of you around the RAIN!
Monika - it really is not that hard, it is a little time consuming - but fun - do recommend it!
George - It is not easy "to do it your way" but did it! Thanks and great post.
Stare-Away-Jeff - we need to get the word out for RAIN FOR CHANGE! This is only the beginning.
Gena - it wasn't THAT bad, it just seemed that everyone came out at once - it's all better now.
I am a "Newbie" (two weeks yesterday) but I love the week in review. I don't know who came up with the idea but it is great. I enjoy reading it better than the local paper.
Great job folks. I love the reviews. Take me to some very good articles that I might have missed.
Things at Active Rain are getting very hectic and the reviews help focus on important subjects.
Thanks.
Lenn
Ines -job well done on a difficult taask. I can't imagine the work that goes into this sort of review. There is so much to read, having a review is good place to start if you don;t have lots of time to peruse all the blogs and read what strikes your interest.
Thanks again.
Jeff
Great job Ines! Awesome use of pictures... you really made the "week in review"... your own. Thanks so much for the recognition... I appreciate all of the work that you put into this. I've got some posts to go back and explore :)
moo
MF - guidance is always good, I don't see how you, of all people could EVER be overwhelmed - you are the epitome of control (I'm not kidding)
Thanks Lloyd - I'm starting to look forward to these every week and it's a nice change to have different people do them.
Lisa - Welcom! I hope you are enjoying the Rain as much as some of us do. Local paper? what local paper?
Lenn - I agree with you - and get to read different posts that we would not get to otherwise.
Jeff - It's a good place to start but there are a lot of other great stuff out there that we can't include for brevity's sake.
Angus - your post was a hoot! I can relate to it in so many ways and many of us feel the same. Thanks for stopping by.
Again... week after week such a great job you all undertake to do this.
This one LOOKS great too. I think now that the dash will be changing more... these recaps are going to be even MORE important.
Again... thanks.
Me
Craig - It means a lot when you say it LOOKS great. Thank YOU for coming by.

Carole - good for you, it means you are trying to read different things.
