In Miami Beach from December 7th-10th - Miami Beach Convention Center

This is an incredible opportunity to see ART, ART, ART!!!  Art like you have never seen before.  From a portrait of Jacqueline Picasso, which has not been displayed over 40 years worth over $4.5 million, to a 2,000 lb black marble statue by Henry Moore worth about $11.5 million, to Miros, Chagalls, Margrittes, Jackson Pollocks....just to name a few.  The most incredible exhibitions that take your breath away.

I think this blog got lost in space - but I'm glad you found it Rich -"some serious art" is exactly what it is.  It's like going to all the important International museums and galleries at once.  I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

Ines, unfortunately many of these local content posts get lost. A bunch of mine are floating around in cyberspace unnoticed as well. And to make matters worse, they tend to adversely affect our Dashboard Top Blogger rankings as well! But I continue to look at the much Bigger Picture. I know that eventually these will serve to drive potential clients to my area and me. I rather enjoy putting them together, as I'm sure you do. We both love our respective markets!

Thanks for the reassurance Rich - I guess we get used to a certain amount of comments and then some post go by unseen.  But you are right - we both love our markets, and will eventually drive customers here.

Am I the only one who loves these paintings?  I love Klimt, but who painted the cigar smoking hottie?

Not many people know about Klimt MF, the other painting was done by Alberto Godoy.

Garbage in garbage out. This crap isn't art, its a mastery of deceit and an insult to good taste for those who love art.

Leonardo - those are some strong words!  But please don't insult the Masters!!  I understand why some modern displays may offend people, but if for nothing else, take a look at those amazing Van Goghs, Renoirs, Chagalls, Monets, Kandinsky's.........just to take a glimpse at some originals makes it all worth while.

Rick & Ines - You are correct about Masters such as Renoirs, Monets and Kandinsky and in some rare cases, Chagall has a decent piece here or there but never was a real talented painter and way too over rated. But some of this other stuff has no business being placed on the same walls as the aforementioned.

Leonardo - thanks for coming back and a lot of people would agree with you. I would even agree with you in many instances, but let's look at  the definition of art:
